Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy SURESH (born 17th October, 1992) is a popular Indian actor. Keerthy appears in Tamil films and Telugu films, and also in a few of Malayalam. She received the National Film Award in Best Actress category for her role in the role of actress Savitri. She also won an award from the Filmfare Award South and three SIIMA Awards. Keerthy is the child of filmmaker G. Suresh Kumar and actress Menaka G. Suresh. Her first career was an actor for children. Later, after studying fashion design, she re-entered acting. She portrayed her first main role as a lead in Geethaanjali (2013 Malayalam). She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). Keerthy embarked on her first Malayalam projects as well as began working in Tamil simultaneously. In 2015, she released A. L. Vijay's romantic comedy Idhu Enna Maayam and Vikramprabhu against one another. But, both films did not do well at the theaters. She had to drop out of a variety of projects she had been making in 2015 such as Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye, and Deekay's Kavalai Vedam, to free up space for more ambitious projects. In the end, she was involved in two movies, Rajini Murugan followed by Remo with Sivakarthikeyan. Dhanush also played in the role of Thodari as Thodari in Prabhu Solomon's Thodari. While the date for release of Janakitho Nenu is not yet confirmed, there is speculation that the film could be released later in the month of September, 2020. Nenu Sailaja (2016), which featured Ram Pothineni as the actor was Keerthy's debut. Keerthy was cast as Vijay In Bairavaa by Bharathan the film, which debuted on the 17th of January, 2017. In 2017, she also appeared in Tamil films like Paambhu Sattai as well as Telugu film Nenu Local.
