Avery Sunshine
Avery Sunshine is a mercurial music producer and singer, who mixes soul gospel jazz and R&B in a signature mix. She has appeared on stages all over the world, from Broadway up to the Democratic National Convention to the European club and festival scenes. Sunshine is Denise White. Although she is based in Atlanta but her origins are located in Chester Pennsylvania. There she first began to develop the musical profession by singing and playing the piano at the church. In Atlanta she went to Spellman College where her musical education began in the Atlanta's R&B Scene. It was remixed and has become a element of her set. She also lent her voice to the soundtrack of The Fighting Temptations. In 2005, Tyler Perry hired her as the principal keyboardist on his stage show Meet the Browns. Jennifer Holliday, a Grammy as well as Tony Award winning vocalist who had worked on the stage production Dreamgirls at the National Black Arts Festival of Atlanta in 2007, contacted her to be the choral leader for this theatrical production. Sunshine gained national recognition for several performances throughout the Democratic National Convention in 2008. She was invited to perform at the inauguration of President Obama in 2009.
