Reese Witherspoon started seriously pursuing an acting career after she began her studies at Stanford University. Following a handful of parts, including Pleasantville and Election. Witherspoon thought about giving up acting during her first year in college to pursue a doctoral profession with her parents. Also, she appeared in The Dictator as well as The Incredible Burt Wonderstone. She is an excellent artist and painter in as well as a renowned actor.
